Life is a just a ride in a park. We are put into the seats, it’s only by luck who we sit next to. It’s a very long ride so you begin to strap yourself in. There are many people on the ride, as the ride aproaches a turn, everyone on the ride begins to guess what’s gonna happen, for some they will guess correctly, for others it may be far from what they thought. It is not a question of what the turn is, it’s a question of whether your mind can take it in .. So now the ride speeds up, nearly everybody is screaming, the ride gets faster and faster, then it stops at a junction. Some may go off the ride, some because of the fact that they don’t like the ride, others because they think that the ride is unbearable. As people get off, others will board the carriage, they may like what they see or they may want to feel something that they have never felt before. As the journey progresses we begin to start panicing, the ride gets higher, the people become louder and everything around you may feel like it doesn’t exist or matter. Unfortunetely some may have difficulties on the ride which may lead them to back out at the next stop, some feel the pain but they want to keep going because they sense something comming up.
It’s a really long time and your still on the moving thing full of screaming people.. As time progresses you begin to speculate ,complain and question the ride. “Is this really what i think it is?”, “Why do i feel what i feel?”, “why is it going so fast?” etc.
Once you decide to hope off the ride *for a short break*, you decide to hop back on it again… but this time the biggest difference is that your more prepared, what once may have killed you, is something that you embrace and make the most out of the 2nd time.
Depression is the low point when you think you can’t guess what happen’s next, it’s the point in the ride when you think that everyone’s gone, it’s when you think that the ride has slown down because you can’t cope, it’s when you think that throwing yourself off the moving journey will solve what you think of the journey, it’s when you think that if you don’t follow everyone else then your crazy.
The reality is is that, the ride is the same but we all see/feel/embrace it differently. You think the ride has slown down because you’ve been on it before, inorder to see how lucky you are, you must see the people around you react, the problem with throwing yourself off the moving journey is that, it will destroy the journey for everyone else, the other people on the ride can only see the back of your head, for this case, they don’t know what you feel and think. When your on the ride, others may scream when you don’t want to, there will be other times when you scream and only you scream, but the thing to remember is:nothing last forever. this isnt a spiritual thing, this is a rational thing. Nothing good lasts forever nor does anything bad last forever. Just because you didnt scream doesnt make you crazy, it just means that your stronger. Don’t hold in your scream though, if its too much to take then pull over at the nxt junction, you will get help, no one will laugh because it’s just a ride.
